Training as a 'fix' solution

The Sales Manager’s role in training their sales team

Sadly training is often seen as a ‘quick fix’ when there is a problem – it is less disruptive than implementing sales automation, resizing or restructuring. But even this quick fix will be quickly cut out if the company sales are down.

What if you have a sales team too small for the result? Too large? Poorly structured? What if poor recruitment is the source of the problem?

Make certain that any training you embark upon really is the fix to the problem, and not a ‘quick fix’ band-aid.
